Amy leads Valhalla’s work to identify high-impact opportunities for giving, to support and accelerate grantee results, to collaborate with and learn from other funders, and to measure Valhalla’s results and improve its strategy based on lessons learned. She also works directly with a handful of grantees.
Before joining Valhalla, Amy was a Partner at The Bridgespan Group, where she advised and supported philanthropists and nonprofits to help them maximize their social impact for almost twelve years. Amy has also worked at NewSchools Venture Fund, Education for Change (a charter management organization in Oakland, CA), and Bain & Company. Amy has an MBA and a Masters in Education from Stanford University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
