Last August, Valhalla Foundation made a multi-year grant commitment to the Center for Policing Equity (CPE). CPE uses a science- and data-driven approach to identify the causes of racial disparities in policing in the US, and assists local communities in developing and implementing new visions for designing their public safety agencies. Valhalla Foundation is proud to support CPE’s vital work, the importance of which was made even clearer by the murder of George Floyd, and by the nationwide racial reckoning that followed that tragic event. This grant is part of an ongoing effort by the Foundation’s board and staff to incorporate a deep commitment to racial equity across all aspects of our work.
