Director, Valhalla Foundation
Rebecca works on Valhalla’s data science education portfolios. In this role, she informs the development of strategy and grant recommendations and manages a portfolio of grantees, providing strategic coaching and thought partnership to accelerate their results.
Before joining Valhalla, Rebecca was a founding team member and CEO of Code Nation, a national nonprofit that equips students in under-resourced high schools with the skills, experiences, and connections that create access to careers in technology. During her tenure at Code Nation, the organization expanded to new regions, developed a robust network of funders and donors, and codified its one-of-a-kind program and curriculum.
Rebecca began her career as an elementary special education teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. She holds an MA in Education from Alliant University and a BA in English from Tufts University.
