OPERATIONS

Lynne Durie

Executive Assistant, Valhalla Foundation

Lynne partners with members of Valhalla’s leadership team across scheduling, events, and project management, and also supports the entire team in day-to-day operations and fostering a well-run, welcoming workplace.  She brings more than two decades of operations and administrative experience in mission-driven nonprofits keeping organizations running smoothly.

Lynne spent 25 years at Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, where she served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing office operations, and leading HR, employee engagement, and board support. She most recently served as Director of Operations at George Mark Children’s House, leading capital projects and facility operations, overseeing HR, and supporting board governance practices.

Lynne holds a B.A. in French from Humboldt State University and an M.A. in French from Sacramento State University.  A Bay Area native, she lives in the East Bay with her husband, teenage son, and two cats. She enjoys travel, baking, good food, and cheering on the 49ers.
