Christine Rousseau brings more than two decades of global experience advancing innovation in the life sciences. She advises the Valhalla Foundation on our Medical Research and Talent program, which focuses on multiple sclerosis and related autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. Previously Christine served as Chief Business Development Officer at the American Society for Microbiology and held leadership roles at Chembio Diagnostic Systems and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Across these positions, she has built partnerships spanning industry, academia, and global health organizations, including Takeda, Mylan, Roche, UNICEF, and the Global Fund, and has stewarded more than $250 million in research and development investments.
Christine earned a BS in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University, a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
